Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.
We employ over 4,000 dedicated members of staff who deliver services from more than 90 locations, working in approximately 150 teams across a geographical region of 2,200 miles, for a population of approximately 1.8million people.
We are passionate about promoting good mental health and wellbeing. We strive to use the expertise and resources within our organisation, and through our partnerships, to deliver high quality services that are safe and focused on people's recovery. Our staff are pivotal in everything we do and we are committed to involving them fully in the development of the Trust and our services.
Are you up for a challenge? We provide the temporary staffing service for the whole of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running to complement our well established team. This is a fast paced, sometimes difficult, environment which requires a calm and professional approach to dealing with urgent requests to provide cover.
The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, possess good communication skills and have a good knowledge of computer systems, be especially skilled in Excel, as well as having an excellent eye for detail. Recent evidence of working in a clerical role or call centre is essential and evidence of working in a mental health setting would be advantageous.
The role involves shift work operating seven days a week between the hours of 0730 and 2200.
If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience and relish a challenge then we would like to hear from you.
