An opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Management team within Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership, looking after the Specialised, Secure and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) division. This division includes services covering drug and alcohol dependency, eating disorders, people with learning difficulties, caring for service users within the criminal justice system and low and medium secure inpatient settings.

The division offers specialist mental health care across and beyond the Avon & Wiltshire region, but the role is primarily based in Bath and Bristol.

We are seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to join our experienced, friendly Finance team. The key responsibilities include:

  • preparing monthly management accounts and forecasts
  • holding regular meetings with clinical and managerial staff to discuss the financial position and providing advice and guidance with regards to good budgetary management
  • providing ad hoc financial costing and modelling
  • assisting with the annual budget setting process

This is a demanding role, but in return for hard work and dedication, you can expect to work with enthusiastic and motivated people who have a real commitment to providing the best quality mental health service to our service users and be proud of working for the NHS. We also offer finance apprenticeships and training packages to help you further your qualifications.
