You will lead the lead security expert. You will lead the Trust in investigating violence towards staff, criminal damage of assets, harassment and theft of property. You will be an Accredited Local Security Management Specialist with several years experience of investigating incidents, file management, prosecution, court appearances.

You will be an expert in your field of work and have experience of supporting staff after incidents, sign posting them to other support services. You will be experienced in challenging the police when they decline to investigate mental health related incidents, and ensuring Drs undertake capacity assessments to support that work.

You will conduct regular security awareness presentations to staff at various forums. You will undertake assessments and reviews and produce reports for managers. You will be expected to produce a work plan and annual reports and other reports following investigations

You will be expected to work and deliver the NHS Security Management Standards for Providers until there is a replacement. You will conduct a yearly Self Review Tool and report to the Health and Safety Group and to the Audit and Risk Committee.

Your role plays an important part in delivering our Key Priorities and the HSE requirements in leading a positive health and safety culture.
