We are looking for a candidate who has significant experience in working within access services, has preferably undertaken supervision and development of junior staff, who is passionate about improving services, and who is keen to uphold all aspects of quality improvement. Experience working within/alongside an acute general hospital is also desirable.

There is also a teaching, education and support role, assisting non-mental health staff to respond to mental health needs more effectively in the acute hospital setting. You will also be providing support to the Team Manager when required, and covering managerial duties in their absence.

The successful candidate would be forward thinking, pro-active, and would enjoy and thrive working in the fast paced and unpredictable general hospital environment. They would also need to be highly motivated to take the team forward with improving standards in all aspects of service delivery. A highly professional, calm and personable manner is essential.
