Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.
We employ over 4,000 dedicated members of staff who deliver services from more than 90 locations, working in approximately 150 teams across a geographical region of 2,200 miles, for a population of approximately 1.8million people.

This is a secondment for 12 months. If you are an internal candidate on a substantive contract you may only apply for this secondment. Please ensure you have the support of your current line manager before applying. At the end of your secondment you will return to your current post at your current grade.

Do you have excellent clinical standards, are you effective, supportive, and a confidant in leadership and leading by example. Are you Passionate to act as an advocate for the reduction of stigma associated with mental health? If so we would love you to join our team.
As well as supporting you to build on your experience of a clinical practitioner you will also be working alongside the team manager ensuring that all staff have a robust induction programme , individual appraisals , preceptorship, mentorship , clinical and managerial supervision and support mandatory and statutory training.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
