The BaNES Therapies Team are a well-established multi-disciplinary team who are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join them. You will have excellent motivational and communication skills, alongside a range of therapeutic skills that will support service users and carers within the community mental health and inpatient services in Bath and North East Somerset. The role will involve providing specialist Physiotherapy interventions for service users over the age of 18 with a range of organic and functional mental health conditions together with complex physical and mental health needs. You will be required to employ a range of skills including rehabilitation and falls prevention and to facilitate improved function, increased physical activity, social inclusion and recovery. You will have a role in service development and be a clinical educator, involved in the teaching of students and other disciplines . You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team supported by a physiotherapy technician.

There is a team of physiotherapy and exercise staff across the organisation who will support your development led by a Professional lead with regular meetings and supervision.
