We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Apprentice Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in a busy and supportive team in an environment that, whilst challenging at times, is also very rewarding.

The post holder will be a point of contact for individuals accessing South Gloucestershire Community Services which includes Service Users and their carers / friends and family as well as  health and social care professionals and therefore good communication skills are essential.

You will be expected to provide administrative and receptionist support to the multi-disciplinary team working with adults of working age and Later Life. The post holder will be working within a busy environment providing a wide range of clerical duties such as answering and dealing with telephone enquiries, inputting information into the RiO patient information system, typing, booking appointments, booking rooms, scanning and photocopying.

You will  be encouraged to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team. The ideal candidate will operate in an efficient, methodical and accurate manner, ensuring that exacting standards of Patient Care and Confidentiality are maintained at all times. This is an 18 month fixed term opportunity and the post holder will be supported to complete their qualification within this time.
