Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

AWP Secure Services are ‘Searching for Excellence’! 

Are you an aspiring RMN or RNLD that is interested in working in forensic mental health care? 

You are invited to join Secure Services for our Recruitment Day on 28th May 2019 at Blackberry Hill Hospital.  Applicants may be required to attend for the whole day. Applicants will need to be at Fromeside reception for 9:30am. There will be presentations in the morning followed by value based recruitment/group discussions in the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to find out more about our service and also meet members of our multi-disciplinary teams .  We will be providing a buffet lunch.

We strive to provide service user centred care whilst fostering hope, empowerment and choice. This is an exciting challenge in a secure setting that is calling for outward thinking and innovative approaches from our staff. 

Wickham Unit is a 31 bedded low secure service providing care to male service users with both acute and rehabilitation needs. Fromeside is an 81 bedded medium secure unit caring for both male and female service users with provision for both acute and rehabilitation wards. Secure services are leading the way with reducing restrictive practice and co-production. 

We are looking to recruit staff who are passionate about providing high quality, compassionate care in a setting conducive to the principles of Recovery. If you feel the same way we would love to hear from you.

 We have vacancies for both Band 5 (Starting Salary From £24,214 per annum) and Band 6 nurses (Starting salary from £30,401 per annum) and are able to offer you a rotational post within our service if you wish.
