Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) is a significant provider of high quality mental health services across a core catchment area covering Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. Fromeside is an 81 bedded Medium Secure Unit based in Bristol, it has 7 male wards and 1 female service. At Fromeside we strive to provide patient centered care whilst fostering hope, empowerment and choice. Working in a secure setting requires outward thinking and innovative approaches from our staff whilst remaining committed to maintaining safety and security. We are always looking for staff that can help us develop further and help us take these services to the fore in the field of forensic services!

This is an innovative and creative unit that has fresh practices such as OTs working shifts, ensuring a high emphasis on groups and therapies within the wards. Service User involvement it as the heart of the work. The wards have highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams who work closely together to ensure excellence in service delivery.
We are looking for highly creative and motivated staff to join the team. Staff interested in working in a compassionate and inventive way and supporting the existing team in further developments. There will be opportunities to develop areas of interest and pursue further training.
Service users will be involved in the recruitment process.
