Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

We are looking to recruit 4 CAMHS practitioners to join our Camhs Triage Assessment and Outreach team (CTAO) at band 6.

Bristol and South Gloucestershire CAMHS is undergoing exciting and innovative changes and this post will be supporting the transformation of CAMHS by developing a new front door and intensive community response to young people presenting in crisis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a post into CAMHS for a mental health nurse/ social work practitioner with experience at this level who has a desire to work with children, young people and families. The post holder will contribute to assessment and intensive community support of young people at risk of tier 4 admission and facilitate early discharge with the support and supervision of members of this multidisciplinary team.

The role involves working evenings till 10pm and weekend working on a rota basis.

We are a supportive and cohesive team currenting developing to meet the needs of young people who present in crisis.
