We are looking for a band 7, Clinical Practitioner - Eating Disorders, to join the Avon and Wiltshire, Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust – Enhanced eating disorder service (CAMHS). You will be working across Bristol and South Gloucestershire CAMHS community teams in the provision of Eating Disorder Services for young people.

This is a developing service which includes motivated clinicians from the professional disciplines of Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Community Psychiatric Nursing, Family Therapy and child psychotherapy. The team has a clear line operational management and lead professional structure.
The service model is rooted within a family-based approach and uses the Maudsley model as the core intervention. Additional approaches will include CBT-E, Multi Family groups, Parent/ carer groups  and other therapies as appropriate to an individual’s presentation. The aim of the service is to provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach, which is informed by the CYP-IAPT, eating disorders programme. Systemic Psychotherapy plays a key role in the delivery of this highly Specialist service.

We are looking for Qualified Mental Health Professionals who share our passion and commitment, in aiding the recovery process of young people with eating disorders.

The service places a strong emphasis on continuing professional development and clinical Supervision for all team members. We would wish to support you in developing your existing eating disorder clinical skills. In line with the CYP-IAPT Systemic Practitioner training. There are a number of other Family Therapists & Systemic Practitioners across the trust creating a vibrant and exciting systemic community. As well as working in this context we would seek to link you with your own core professional group.
