We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic practitioners to join a developing, exciting and forward thinking community service in Bristol.
The service is currently being developed and evolving across BNSSG (Bristol North Somerset & South Glos) and is aimed at improving quality of life by enhancing treatment provision using a person centred approach by increasing engagement and support in line with service user needs to improve independence and recovery from serious mental illness for those in recovery services who have experienced barriers to accessing traditional mental health services.
The service will work alongside recovery services to closely build relationships characterised by engagement and work towards improved quality of life, which in turn will reduce the need for acute admissions under the Mental Health Act and enable service-users who are admitted to hospital to be discharged sooner.
The Engagement Workers will hold capped caseloads of 15 service users and will operate alongside recovery services and the Engagement & Support Senior Practitioner to deliver enhanced, engagement focused interventions.
If you have relevant experience of working within a community setting and have an understanding of engagement approaches then we want to hear from you.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
