Band 3 Health Care Assistant - Cherry Ward (New Acute Ward at Callington Road Hospital)

Are you passionate about Mental Health Inpatient care? Do you want to be part of a newly formed inpatient team to deliver high quality care and treatment to service users in Bristol? Are you focused on enhancing service user, carer and staff experience? If so, come and join us!

The new ward will consist of 18 beds and meet the needs of both male and female service users located at the Callington Road Hospital site in South Bristol.  

We are looking for Health Care Assistants with a passion for providing a standard of care that can really change people’s lives, just when life has become its most challenging. We welcome individuals with the resilience, determination and commitment to keep delivering the inpatient care that the population of Bristol deserves.

You will have outstanding communication skills. You will be a team player, able to work innovatively and be highly committed to providing holistic care with a passion to improve the patient experience.

The successful candidates must have a specific interest in working with acute mental health and a specific interest in increasing your knowledge in this area. You must be approachable, non-judgemental and sensitive to the issues faced by people with mental health problems.

You will be part of a wider MDT with a shared objective to develop a Psychological Informed Environment with a focus on meaningful engagement, therapeutic occupation and trauma / attachment formulations.
