Band 5 Staff Nurse – Cherry Ward (New Acute Ward at Callington Road Hospital)

Are you passionate about Mental Health Inpatient care? Do you want to be part of a newly formed inpatient team to deliver high quality care and treatment to service users in Bristol? Are you focused on enhancing service user, carer and staff experience? If so, come and join us!

The new ward will consist of 18 beds and meet the needs of both male and female service users located at the Callington Road Hospital site in South Bristol.

We are looking for nurses with a passion for providing a standard of care that can really change people’s lives, just when life has become its most challenging. We welcome registered nurses with the resilience, determination and commitment to keep delivering the inpatient care that the population of Bristol deserves.

You will be confident and good at taking the initiative. You will provide reassurance to your team members and be able to provide advice or know where to find it.

You will co-ordinate shifts, attend ward rounds/ CPA’s, complete medication rounds, work closely with service users within the key working role and supporting both service users and their carers during their admission.

You will be part of a wider MDT with a shared objective to develop a Psychological Informed Environment with a focus on meaningful engagement, therapeutic occupation and trauma / attachment formulations.
