Are you an experienced Later Life Consultant Psychiatrist looking for your next challenge in Liaison psychiatry?

We are looking for a full time consultant to support and enhance the Later Life Liaison Psychiatry Service that provides specialist input to the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (UHB). The post holder will lead the service in close working with the co-located Adult Liaison Psychiatry team.

This is a friendly, innovative, high functioning team with PLAN accreditation, working in an Acute Trust with an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating. The team is composed of predominantly AWP mental health trust employees, with a small number of UHB employed staff working in an integrated model to deliver the service within UHB.

The Later Life Liaison team within UHB has been well established for over 10 years and has strong working relationships with the acute hospital clinical and management groups. The job offers a broad mixture of clinical assessment, advice/education to hospital colleagues and team supervision making it a varied, interesting and satisfying post. You will be supported by an experienced team, who currently provide a M-F 9-5 service.
