Elizabeth Casson House is an eight bedded, female, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. The unit specialises in the clinical, short-term management of people who are in an acutely disturbed phase of a serious psychiatric illness and who cannot be safely managed in a general acute setting.
Our team are looking for passionate, highly motivated, experienced registered nurses to work with and lead our team in continuing to move our service forward in line with National Minimum Standards for Psychiatric Intensive Care Services.
The role will involve clinically leading and managing a team of staff nurses and healthcare assistants. Supporting the Ward Manager with some operational duties and help develop and maintain clinical standards.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acute Inpatient Nursing, Place of Safety, and or Crisis Home Treatment. You will be able to demonstrate a capacity for clinical excellence and developing the role with a view to enhancing services.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
