The post supports the Trust’s R&D Department who provide research governance for over 100 projects each, with research income of over £2m. The post provides an essential input into ensuring Trust compliance with research governance, and is often a point of first contact with the R&D Office.
The post holder will support the R&D Department (including the R&D Director, Associate Director, Research Managers and Researchers) in raising the profile of research within the Trust and increasing the Trust’s involvement in national research. This will also include assisting the R&D Department in the implementation of research within the Trust and driving forward our research agenda. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within research in the NHS and have an understanding of how R&D departments function and their requirements, although full training will be provided.
The Trust’s R&D Office is based in Bristol at the Blackberry Hill site which is shared with the UWE Glenside campus.
