An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic health care assistant to join the STEPS Inpatient Eating Disorders Team at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. You need to be motivated and have an interest in working with people with eating disorders and will be working as part of a nursing team. Support will be given by the Ward Manager and by peers. We have brilliant supervision structures in place. This is post filled with developmental opportunities. Through this support there is the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in eating disorders, and in increase your competency in your role as a Health care assistant.

Successful candidates will be required to complete (or demonstrate previous completion of) the AWP Care Certificate. All 15 standards need to have been passed in order to advance beyond the probationary period. For details see document “Code of Conduct for Unregistered Practitioners.
