An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Clinical Services Lead Administrator to join the Wiltshire North Primary Care Liaison Service based at Green Lane Hospital, Devizes. This is a varied role in a busy team with a high number of referrals and telephone calls from professionals, service users and carers. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who is an excellent team player, can work under pressure using their administrative skills to support the smooth running of the team, and who has the ability to prioritise and manage all requests in a timely manner

The post holder will work closely with the other administrators, Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, and Care Co-ordinators to ensure the service meets the service user outcomes, key performance indicators and key stakeholder requirements. The post holder will also provide medical administrative support to a Consultant Psychiatrist and this will include managing appointments, room bookings, audio typing of clinic letters, and managing correspondence on behalf of the medic  

You will have excellent IT / computer and organisational skills. You will be able to communicate well with professionals, service users and carers on the telephone.   You will understand the importance of confidentiality and managing sensitive information. You will be required to manage your own workload and oversee and supervise that of the team administrators 

You will need to have a flexible and adaptable approach to conflicting demands/deadlines and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Experience of working in a similar role and an awareness of mental health conditions would be desirable but not essential

The successful applicant will work primarily from Green Lane Hospital, Devizes

AWP reviews administration systems, processes and job descriptions regularly, to ensure a consistent approach. The job description currently aligned to this role may well be reviewed in future. Anyone who joins AWP as an administrator will be involved in discussions about any changes to administration systems, processes and job descriptions once their employment with AWP commences
