This is an exciting opportunity for a committed mental health professional to work in Early Intervention services working across Wiltshire

This is a permanent post and will be an opportunity for a clinician to gain experience working in Early Intervention.

The Early Intervention Team is a multi professional team working across CAMHS and Adult Mental Health Services. The post will involve using psychosocial interventions and working with  people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The role will also involve working closely with carers and families. The service is part of an AWP Trust wide Early Intervention Service with Southwest and national networks following national guidance for Early Intervention in Psychosis Services.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are highly motivated to work with this client group. We are seeking someone who is committed to team working in every sense of the word. The approach with both service users and carers will be very much based around Psychosocial Interventions and a team approach, which incorporates assertive outreach. You must be an excellent communicator, have a flexible approach to your work with a good knowledge base of the principles of Early Intervention in Psychosis.

The post holder will be part of an enthusiastic team working with comprehensive array of individual, family and vocationally focussed interventions.

This role is focussed on providing appropriate, effective interventions and treatments to people with Psychosis and their Carers (including friends and relatives) and their supporters in the community, enabling and assisting them to meet daily health, social care and wellbeing needs, in line with personal recovery goals, and facilitating engagement with mainstream services.

We are committed to continuous learning and development, supported by management and clinical supervision. There will be opportunities to develop your interests supported by ongoing training.
