This is a development role.

Our team is based in Devizes, Wiltshire, a beautiful rural area, with very pleasant surroundings to work in.  For those who like the night life or shopping, Chippenham, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Marlborough & Hungerford are all within easy travelling distance.

The position is full time, but part time applicants are welcome to apply.

The role involves completing follow up assessments, both face to face and after hours, via telephone, and risk assessments of those individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis.  Our team provides a 24 hours service 7 days a week all year, so shift work is part of the role.  We offer flexibility with roster requests where possible, as we are keen to retain/recruit excellent clinicians.

As a band 5 specialist clinician, you would be expected to hold organizational skills, have a good sense of self, show a willingness to learn and deliver therapy based interventions, be prepared to share ideas and explore ways of working with the team, provide and receive supervision/appraisals, hold relevant experience and registration, and possess a sense of humor.

The majority of our work consists of home visits, so a valid licence is essential. Following a thorough handover, the days work is allocated based on skill and experience.  Of course documentation is an important part of what we do, and the expectation is it be completed in a timely and accurate manner.
