We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to complement our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust. This post is for a Band 4 Physiotherapy Technician/Active Life Trainer based at Green Lane Hospital in Devizes.

The successful candidate will be working with adult service users on our 20-bedded in-patient unit and in the community, promoting and encouraging physical activity and well-being.

Applicants will need to have experience of working in Mental Health, ideally including motivation to exercise or maintenance/promotion of independence, Gym Instructor Level 3 or equivalent. It will be essential to have experience of working with special populations in engaging in physical activities. Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant would be desirable. A full driving license is required.

We are a supportive and friendly team, where you will be encouraged to develop your skills working in this challenging field.

Position is for a 22.5 hour per week contract, to include evening and weekend working.
