This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our multi-disciplinary teams, within HMP Erlestoke. The post holder will support the qualified staff by working to care plans that aim to enhance and maximise the potential and recovery of people within the service.
HMP Erlestoke is based in a beautiful rural setting in Wiltshire and is a short journey from the surrounding towns including Devizes, Frome, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Chippenham. The is free parking on site, a staff canteen, farm shop and access to a gym.
The post holder will also support qualified staff with other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the care that we provide.

You will be based with our multi-disciplinary team within the prison and will work closely with a variety of other professionals, including Psychiatrists, non-medical prescribers, mental health nurses, Learning Disability Practitioners, Recovery Co-ordinators and partnership healthcare agencies.
The role will involve collaborative work with all disciplines within the prison including offender management (probation), psychology, programs and prison officers. There is an excellent multidisciplinary approach towards patient care and an exciting opportunity to work closely with different professions.
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the provision of a recovery-focused model of care, within an integrated physical, mental health and substance misuse service.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain prison security clearance in addition to DBS and reference checks.
