Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

The Swindon Recovery Service is looking for a Senior Practitioner to work alongside the team management to enhance and support the work of a team of highly skilled professionals. The post holder will be based at Chatsworth House which is at the heart of Swindon. If you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social Worker who is passionate about Recovery and improving people's experience of mental health, this is a fantastic opportunity. You will be able to work in a challenging and diverse role with great reward. You will be joining an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team who value working in a supportive working environment. This is echoed by a visible and accessible management team who prioritise supportive supervision and commit to staff training and development.
We are looking for someone with:
Significant experience of working within mental health services, ideally within a community setting.
Excellent clinical skills.
Experience of supervising junior staff.
Passion and commitment to high standards of clinical care.
A drive for innovation and quality improvement.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
