The Swindon Intensive Service are looking for a substantive Specialist Intensive Practitioner to join the team on a full time basis . The post holder will be based at Sandalwood court Swindon. If you are a Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social Worker who is looking for an opportunity to develop their clinical skills and are passionate about  improving people's experience of mental health, then this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and diverse role. You will be joining an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team in a supportive working environment, with a visible and accessible management team who prioritises supportive supervision and a commitment to staff training and development.

The Swindon Intensive Service is responsible for providing assessments, home treatment and support to individuals with intensive mental health care needs. The team work with GPs, PCLS, Recovery, EI, AMHPS,  inpatient services and general wards improving mental health recognition and treatment and avoiding hospital admission when possible.

We are looking for someone with:

Significant experience of working within multidisciplinary mental health teams.

Excellent clinical skills

Experience of supervising junior staff

Passion and commitment to high standards of clinical care

Excellent communication and organisational skills
