Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Recovery Practitioner Nurse to join the Swindon Recovery Community Services at Chatsworth House, Swindon, Wiltshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to drive forward high quality care in a modern, efficient mental health community service. The role focuses on providing effective interventions and treatments to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, and their carers. This involves enabling and assisting service-users to meet daily health, social care and wellbeing needs. Our aim is to empower and enable service-users to maintain or regain their independence in line with their personal recovery goals.

Candidates should have experience of acute care and have a passion for developing cutting edge and evidence based practice.
