PERIPATETIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Full time: 37.5 hours (over 7 days)

We have an opportunity for a well-organised, dynamic Occupational Therapist to join In-patient Therapy Services in North Somerset.

You will be working across two sites, the Long Fox Unit and Elmham Way, and a range of services including adults of working age, later life and rehabilitation.

You will be part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering high quality patient care to a mixed caseload of complex people with functional and organic mental health conditions.

Previous experience in working in a health care setting and experience of mental health would be preferable.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in assessment, treatment and outcome monitoring of patients.

The post will include managing your own caseload and delivering timely assessments. Interventions will include both individual and group work.

There are ample opportunities for professional development, including preceptorship, comprehensive supervision & appraisal structure.
