We are very much focussed on improving standards of care and developing the in patient service in conjunction with the existing wider service and Multi-Disciplinary team. We are looking for a Health Care Assistant at band 3.
The Longfox Site is situated in the Grounds of Weston General Hospital offering care to service users with a serious mental illness who are in crisis.
There are 3 wards all of which are mixed gender;
We work alongside an intensive support team who are based on site and the later life community services based in Clevedon . We have a very good working relationship with both of these to optimise the service user’s care pathway. We have an established culture of inter team working which offers people who work on the site diverse experience and learning opportunities.
We are also very proud of our service user involvement in the development of our services. We have a service user involvement worker who promotes involvement at every level of our service provision.
The candidates must be innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic to be a part of a team who is looking to improve the standards of care we are offering to the service users. The Trust has well established links with Weston College and we are keen to ensure that all candidates are well supported to progress their own career.
Weston Super Mare is in North Somerset and is situated along the M5. It is a short commute to Bristol, one of Britain’s most vibrant and diverse cities and has excellent transport links to it and the surrounding areas. It is also a short Journey to some of the country’s most sought after tourist spots in the South West.
