Evening Supper Hotel Services Assistant (Housekeeping)

Based at the Long Fox Unit, Grange Road, Uphill, Weston-super-Mare.  

Working 3 early evenings per week - Fixed rota

The hours of work are 10.5 per week, 3. 5 hours per day, from 15.00 to 18.30.  The successful post holder will be working a 3 week rota which includes the need to work every Saturday:-

Week 1 - working Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Week 2 - working Monday, Tuesday and Saturday

Week 3 - working Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday  

We are looking for somebody join our small early evening team who provide a Catering and cleaning service to the Wards and departments at the Long Fox Unit, which is situated in the grounds of Weston General Hospital.

Please note, you will be employed by Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust

Catering duties include the reheating and service of Service User meals, the preparation of salads and sandwiches, washing up, and cleaning of the kitchen and dining rooms.

Cleaning duties include the cleaning of offices, sanitary areas, meeting rooms, reception areas, kitchens, corridors and clinical spaces, bedrooms and other associated spaces.   

Applicants should have a mature attitude and be flexible over and above the set rota, if possible. A Food Hygiene qualification would be desirable, but is not essential.
